How can you get a China SIM card?
China Travel Chapter recommends three ways to connect to China’s mobile network using your phone:

Purchase a PrePaid SIM Card: If you know for sure that your phone is unlocked, you can purchase a Chinese SIM card prior to your arrival in China.

Purchase a SIM Card in China: If you’re already in China or if it’s too late to purchase a prepaid China SIM card, you can always visit the office of a local service provider in China to get a SIM card. This option takes time, however, so I wouldn’t make this your primary option.

Rent a Phone / International Roaming: If your phone isn’t unlocked but you still need to use a phone in China, you can either rent a phone or use international roaming with your home carrier.

Things to do in Zhengzhou
1. 少林寺 (Shaolin Si)
Inscribed as a key national Buddhism monastery in 1983, Shaolin Temple, or Shaolin Monastery of Zhengzhou enjoys a great reputation for over 1000 years since Tang Dynasty (618-907). It is the birthplace for both the famous Martial Arts of Shaolin and the Chan sect of Chinese Buddhism. Approved as a 5A tourist attraction in 2007, the Shaolin Temple set a background against a Wuru Peak, and enjoys a natural barrier by right of surrounded multipeaked mountains and beautiful sceneries. The temple is so named as Shaolin just because it is seated in the hinterland of Shaoshi Mount, and hides in the thick forest (called as Lin in Chinese). A renowned temple in China with a history of over 1500 years, Shaolin Temple additionally boasts for 11 historical architectures which are world cultural heritages approved by UNESCO.
2. 龍門石窟 (Longmen Grottoes)
The Longmen Grottoes or Longmen Caves are some of the finest examples of Chinese Buddhist art. Housing tens of thousands of statues of Buddha and his disciples, they are located 12 kilometres (7.5 mi) south of present-day Luoyang in Henan province, China. The images, many once painted, were carved as outside rock reliefs and inside artificial caves excavated from the limestone cliffs of the Xiangshan and Longmenshan, running east and west. The Yi River flows northward between them and the area used to be called Yique. The alternative name of "Dragon's Gate Grottoes" derives from the resemblance of the two hills that check the flow of the Yi River to the typical "Chinese gate towers" that once marked the entrance to Luoyang from the south. There are as many as 100,000 statues within the 2,345 caves, ranging from 1 inch (25 mm) to 57 feet (17 m) in height. The area also contains nearly 2,500 stelae and inscriptions, hence the name “Forest of Ancient Stelae", as well as over sixty Buddhist pagodas. Situated in a scenic natural environment, the caves were dug from a 1 kilometre (0.62 mi) stretch of cliff running along both banks of the river. 30% date from the Northern Wei and 60% from the Tang dynasty, caves from other periods accounting for less than 10% of the total. Starting with the Northern Wei Dynasty in 493 AD, patrons and donors included emperors, Wu Zetian, members of the royal family, other rich families, generals, and religious groups.
3. 河南博物院 (The Henan Museum)
The Henan Museum, located in Zhengzhou, Henan Province, China, is a history and archaeology museum. It has a collection of more than 130,000 pieces of cultural relics through the ages. In addition to its collection of human history the museum is also home to many relics of natural history including dinosaur bones and fossils. Henan Museum's present building, which opened in 1997, occupies an area of more than 100,000 square feet, with a total floor space of 78,000 square feet.
4. 二七廣場 (Erqi Square)
It locates in the center of the Zhengzhou downtown area. It is the busiest commercial area in Zhengzhou City and even in Henan Province. There are many department stores and restaurants, which should not be missed. The most eye-catching architecture on the square is the central Erqi Memorial Tower which commemorates a strike that happened on February 7th, 1923.
